NIU Football Predictions - ChicagoHuskie - 07-09-2020 07:00 AM
Nationally, any type of prediction for our beloved Huskies are not optimistic- allot of MAC West 4th place type forecasts.
What is the consensus here on the board? I know I always lean to the optimistic side, but I say we have a solid shot at taking the West for sure. CMU scares me the most & I have a bullseye on that game at Huskie Stadium as my most anticipated.
I am feeling confident of a much improved offense with Bowers and a year under his belt with coaching staff. Defense will be solid to if we can keep healthy.
I know this all has the obligatory "if we play" commentary.

My guess is that the Huskies finish the season at .500. 0-0. Tied for first (and last) place in the MAC West.

I will go with a 4-8 mark. It is the thinnest talented roster NIU has had in probably 22 years (excluding 2nd half of the 2007 campaign decimated by injury). If you are going to cancel a season, this upcoming one would be a good one to choose! Just a shame Bowers' talent was pretty much wasted in a transition period.
