Almost before Little Rock could do anything in its new affiliation with the PAC 12 for wrestling, one of the flagship programs in the PAC 12 eliminates its wrestling program. Stanford axed wrestling today along with 10 other sports due to coronavirus economic impacts.
If a school as rich as Stanford is axing programs, look for a lot more to follow. Of course they had 36 programs, so are now down to 25.
