Providence St. John's Georgetown Seton Hall They were original Big East members who are still in the conference. Not a very long list any more. I read where UConn may be coming back, but they were not there the whole time in any case. ESPN says that Georgetown won the first ever Big East tournament title in 1980, so it appears that there was a season before Villanova entered the conference.
