New Tiger basketball beat writer - HornLakeTiger - 06-17-2020 03:45 PM
The Daily Memphian hired Danielle Lerner as its new Memphis basketball beat writer. She's spent her last four years in Louisville...three with the Courier-Journal and a year with The Athletic, covering Louisville basketball.
Actually a pretty significant hire by the DM. There currently aren't a lot of female voices in the local sports media scene, especially print.
