He was the one who really did look bad on this.

My dad and Richard Burr were buddies in college. We get Christmas cards from his family. This feels weird.

I agree, along with the rest of them who were in on this.

Mentioning Loeffler seemed ridiculous. She is the wealthiest in the Senate and her husband owns a stock exchange. He can't do that sort of stuff. Plus the trades were apparently pretty typical for them.

Does this mean Republicans are about to lose two senate seats just as things started turning in our favor?

Why didn’t he just wreck the phone and toss it in the Atlantic?

Seems the thing to do of late.

Hardly...her's was nothing. The Georgia Senator on the other hand. Talk about someone not sleeping well last night!

Dude...you seriously think rich people would be above crimes to make themselves richer...simply out of a sense of duty to their job? C'mon man!

What's exactly turned in their favor? Last I checked they're pretty scared about losing their majority.

Hit job. No laws broken. Nothing to see here.

Sorry prog filth

Cant win on ideas. Maybe it was Russia.

Sad, bigly. Democrats hate America.

Burr is not up for reelection but the other Senator Tillis is. As they are both GOP, Tillis may suffer voter wrath for Burr's actions

So in your opinion is the fact pattern a lie, are you saying this isn't a violation of the Stocks Act, or do you just not care because it's a GOP Senator in a state that has a Dem Governor? Would you have the exact same opinion if it was a Dem senator accused of the exact same fact pattern in a state with a GOP governor?

Dude's nothing but a troll. I would not look for any substantive response.

I've read his posts enough to know that while he does do some trolling he makes serious posts. We don't agree politically on almost anything but that doesn't mean we can't have a serious discussion on the topic. I'm actually just legit curious if he thinks there's no crime committed here or if this is just a political calculation of not wanting to hurt his "team"? There's nothing wrong with making those types of calculations, because with the 2 party system it is a zero sum game.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Says the resident expert on that...

ANY of them guilty of it should go down, regardless of which party they represent. The left doesn't hold a monopoly on corruption and greed, it just appears that way.
