OT: Jerry Stiller dead at age 92 - MUther - 05-11-2020 04:50 AM

Reports say natural causes, which I guess reports will have to say for the foreseeable future. Anyways, RIP.

He was great in Seinfeld. Very under rated comedic actor.

Bummer. Loved him in Seinfeld and The King of Queens.

I found him to be hilarious in both Seinfeld and King of Queens. I've had many laughs and smiles attributed to his work.

Some older people can remember Stiller and Meara on network variety shows and late night talk shows. Always funny.

Yep. Saw Stiller and his hilarious wife on numerous variety shows as well as on Johnny Carson many times. "Seinfeld" and another comedy series on CBS, "King of Queens" were resurgences for Jerry's career. Incredibly Funny Man!

Make TV great again. We need a new Seinfeld series.

He was the better Stiller.

These "comedy" shows today are not funny at all. That's why most of them last no more than 2 seasons. The situational comedies have disappeared.

I think the Tim Allen one is the only one i make a point to watch and that's just because he's funny. Most of the cast seems like they're trying too hard to keep up.

I’ve been re-watching Home Improvement with the wife and kids over the last few days. I loved that show as a kid. Obviously, it’s a bit dated now, but it’s still making us laugh.

clt says it is not easy to make a funny show now. Look at the office, no way you could make that today.

I watched the Heartbreak Kid on netflix this weekend with him and Ben Stiller and he was great in it. The underwear scene in the sports shop was a classic.

I thought George Costanza was the greatest character in the history of television... until I saw Frank. RIP Jerry.

Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory where the only newer sitcoms I watched and both of them have ended (still watching the reruns). I still watch a lot Frazier, Two and Half Men (with Charlie, not Walden) and Seinfeld.

Serenity Now!!

I feel really dated.

I've been watching Green Acres.
