Reese- isn't Wolff a freshman? Herslow should be WR.

He is a RS Freshman. And at 6'0 and slim, Herslow is not a TE.

The Herslow deal was purely a mis-typing on my part that I missed when re-reading the article. Fixing that right now

Thanks for providing some content! In terms of our WR core, Im thinking it will be more of Moore/Kumah/Savedge/Fitzgerald. Not sure how they feel about their slot guys but maybe Herslow can play slot.

I put Herslow in purely because I think if given a chance he could provide a good contribution. Fitzgerald is more likely though.

Wouldn’t shock me if some of these freshman WRs redshirt.

Lots of numbers and young talent at WR.

Harvey, Hayes, Collins, and Anotine redshirted last year.

Fitzgerald, Hendrick, Herslow, Moore, Savedge, Kumah all played last year.

If any of the true freshman play significant minutes, it might say alot about what we have returning since there are 10 WRs coming back.

Kumah’s injury and subsequent redshirt may prove to have a silver lining.

You would almost expect a few transfers if we continue to have 10+ WRs.

Right, especially since almost all of them are freshman or sophomores. Just a huge logjame.

Im excited to see what Rhane can do for this squad. Man, I really hope we have a season.

I was always curious why BW and BS abandoned the no huddle spread offense. We obviously were not able to to run a more pro-style offense. It is good to see that RR is interested in bringing back a more creative offense.

The OL starters are not correct. Smith and Cervantes are not starters. The starters are Fagan, Muller, Weaver, Salvideri and probably Kounta.

Is this based on Rahne's line of thinking? I think it would depend on where they play Weaver bc if they think Weaver is a tackle, Cervantes probably plays center. I I can see an argument between who starts at Guard.

But, your starters include 3 guys that played tackle (Fagan/Salvideri/Kounta), 1 guard, and 1 guy that played tackle and guard (Weaver). Who is moving to guard?

Bc we had no QB and our offense was garbage. Trying to keep them on the field to help the defense. If they played fast, the defense would sit for 45 seconds.

Fagan is good and looks like he can play guard. Cervantes is overmatched and not an FBS center. I assume we need Weaver there. Cervantes is one of BW's weak JuCo transfers. Lawson could be in the mix at guard. Also, a couple of the young guys could emerge like Ruff, McDonald and Hassard. Maybe even the highly regarded freshman Santana Saunders could start.

RE: Rahne’s Plan for New Look Monarchs - Gilesfan - 04-15-2020 12:01 PM

By guard, I mean Weaver played center.

Fagan certainly doesn't have the typical body type to play guard but who knows.
