They've already done it as best they can pre-convention. The problem for them is they threw all their eggs in the Slow Joe basket with no backup plan. He's gotta get on a debate stage with no cover and not piss himself. No one on earth who's watched him speak recently can feel confident he can accomplish that. They really should have left CIA Pete around just in case the inevitable happens and she shows in a 2 hour debate he can't do it no matter how much moderator help he has.

As bondsjons said...they have already rigged it against him.

If they need to they will.

It's not like any Bernie supporter is shocked in the least, we all knew they would. The good thing is it's now 1 on 1 and the guy going against Bernie is a guy who even before being riddled with dementia was a horrible candidate who's melted down in multiple presidential campaigns. He's in an infinitely better position this time than in 2016. No one who's been paying attention can seriously believe Biden can debate 1 on 1 for 2 hours without falling apart. If there was a debate between now and the next round of states I'd feel downright giddy. The concern is with the momentum he can not speak in public till the next debate and start to rack up a lead. He can't lock the nomination up though before he gets on a debate stage again, so this isn't over.

What happens if Bernie runs 3rd party?

Hasn't he been an independent most of his political career anyway?

He won't, but if he did it just means Trump wins. I actually think with how bad Biden is declining if he ran 3rd party he'd probably beat Biden, but it just ensures a pretty comfortable plurality win for Trump.

He still is.

My question, is Bernie going to bring up Burisma against Biden?

He never went after Hillary on her scandals so I don't expect him to do so with Biden.

I honestly hope Bernie does run as a third party candidate. He will be 79 in September. If he doesn’t go third party he may never get an opportunity to be on the ballot in November.

In 2024 he will be 83, not sure he would be a viable candidate for any party at that age.

I would like to see him run as a third party candidate just to see how he does.

Bernie is all angry and talks about bad people doing bad things, but when he had the opportunity to wear Hillary out with her email scandal he chickened out. He is all talk. He had the chance to run her into the ground last go round, but lost it when he said, "I'm sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails.". It was over after that. That is all he should have talked about and he would have been the nominee last time. On Tuesday night he couldn't even say "Joe Biden". He is all hat and no saddle. He won't do anything. He will just roll over again and let the Democrat establishment slay him AGAIN. Don't think he ever wanted to be President. Just liked the attention.

As much as I wish Bernie would he won't actually go personally negative on him. He's gonna beat him over the head on his votes for NAFTA, the Iraq War, trying to cut SS and Medicare, and so many more votes over the last 40 years that just make him a ghoul. That's the big advantage Trump is gonna have in a debate with Biden. Bernie just won't go personal, and there's so much good stuff there to do it with. Bernie's almost certainly not even gonna bring up the obvious mental decline. Trump will crush him over that. Trump will be able to literally run back the greatest hits of Hillary attacks, with the added bonus of getting to call him senile. It's really just perfect for him.

Been rigged since day 1. Bernie is fraud. A tackling dummy. He will get a big check and his bros will go back to playing dungeons and dragons in mom's basement.

Sad because I know there are some sincere commies out there.

Trying to figure out the “rigged system conspiracy“ being manufactured by conservatives?

What’s the theory?

Not a theory. Do your on research. Donna Brasille giving Hillary debate questions. The super delegate system. Hillary controlling the DNC.

Facts.
