77-66 final. Big second half that's going to look closer because of a weird ending. 21 and 8 for Murphy. 16, 5, and 10 assits for Peterson. 21 for Martin. Interestingly 28 minutes for Olivari and only 13 for Mullins, though Olivari struggled on the offensive end.

Somebody who was at the game can answer better, but we brought in our reserves/walk-ons with like 1:15 left and MTSU pressed (I think...), forced like 5 TOs, and turned a 20 point game into a 10 point game. I'm fully in the "play to the whistle" camp, but it was weird because it's not like they're fighting for a tournament spot when a smaller deficit looks better.

Olivari's family (and coach) was in attendance. He had a solid game. Josh was a bit off today, but massive second halves by Ako, Rob, Trey, and Drew.

Drew and Rob in particular with amazing 2nd halves. I know we can't ever seem to put it together for 40 minutes. But 40 minutes like we played the final 22 or 23 minutes today would be good enough to beat anyone in the conference.
Looks like UTEP beat up USM at home, so we're tied with UTEP for now for 11th (but they have the tie-breaker over us). If we beat USM on the road this week, that would clinch a tournament bid. But if not, a win over UTEP next Saturday might not be enough.

The refs decided to catch up on the fouls a bit. Nothing more than that. Our first 17 minutes were ugly - the last 2 minutes weren't so pretty. But I'll take a 30-point advantage over the other 21 minutes any day of the year.
