Still early in the year, but that was SE LA’s first loss of the year.

UAB is now 5-1. UAB had 16 hits, but a lot of those were left in base. Dylann Stancil went 5-for-5.

We’re averaging 7 runs a game through 6 games. You can win a lot of softball hitting like that and it hasn’t exactly been a soft schedule

Yeah, so far everybody they’ve played was preseason picked in the top half of their conference.

In the one loss, we did start a true freshman at pitcher. Wonder if the thought was that we’d felt confident about taking the other games with our veterans and knew UW was gonna be a tough one, coach K made a sub who only gave up one run over the next 5 innings. Doubt we do that again, seeing the output we are getting on offense.
