New Mexico State rolls in the second half, for the big 14 point road win over Utah Valley. NMSU was up by 19 at one point.

UMKC chokes in overtime to CSUB. GCU only beats Chicago State by 12.

Dude. At this point a win is a win. Take it and run.

Looks to be a good match up between NMSU and SU. NMSU opens as 5 point favorites. That is the second closest spread for the Aggies this conference season with the first beint 4.5 at CBU.

That was a damn good game against SU. They came out thirsty and damn near coulda beat us. Too many fouls on them and amazingly the Aggies can make free throws in 2020.

Tonight proved that playing one on one doesn't win basketball games. New Mexico State is the GOAT of the WAC. 5 down, 11 more to go.

NMSU can still slip up and lose a game they "should" win. But as of now, NMSU has road wins against two of the hottest teams in the WAC... CBU and Seattle. Nothing on the remaining schedule should be tougher than those two road games... So, it is feasible for NMSU to run the gauntlet 16-0.

It might be a stretch but if the Aggie can go undefeated through the WAC and in the WAC Tourney, NMSU could put together a 22 game winning streak heading into the NCAA Tourney. But we shouldn't look too far forward; it's one game (one win) at a time the rest of the way.

Playing GCU in Phoenix is never easy. And UMKC almost beat us at home. They will be a load on the road.

It just tells how good New Mexico State is, Seattle coming off back to back blow out wins, and NMSU goes in there, and beats them.

Of course the UMKC announcers are talking about the Chiefs going to the Super Bowl while they are casting.

Probably trying to make an excuse for there being maybe 20 people in the gym. But we will take the win. That’s two in a row on the eastern swing road trip. Evens out our conference record to 2-2. Maybe some confidence and momentum heading into next week?

I can't wait to watch NMSU play GCU in a few weeks in front of 12,000+.

My family is making the trip down to their first ever Aggie game.
