Attendance? - Foreverandever - 12-11-2019 02:17 AM

Anyone have a link for football attendance numbers for this year?

Someone was keeping track of AAC numbers but haven't had an update and I would like to se how we are doing vs other conferences. Recently most of the conferences have had no growth or loss. Most of the AAC has seen its numbers increasing though.

Thanks in advance.

The Memphis "Cotton Bowl" sales after Norvell is not going to the bowl game.

I know it is OT, but really pi**es me off.

4th place at 4-8. I'll take that. Gotta think we're near the top if we start turning in mediocre seasons.

Didn't have time to compare to the other conferences. Need a BOT or something to do it.

Like UConn's failing basketball, its Tulsa's fault.

I'm amused we keep ranking these figures when most of them are totally fictitious numbers that exist only on paper.

Not fictional, but they aren't butts in the seat by any means.

That number will be going up after this week. The Army-Navy game usually draws 65K+ people.

Yea, yea. I know. They "distribute" tickets to anyone with a pulse and then claim those numbers for attendance.

Doesn't count - our figures every year are just NMCMS games.

Hmm, I didn't know that. I just assumed if you were the home team, regardless of where you played, it was counted as home attendance.

ECU fans are admirably loyal in the face of adversity.

Memphis has gone from counting tickets distributed in 2016 and before to scanned tickets at the stadium where only about 8 of 10 are scanned. There must be some formula in place where the university is being charged for city services based upon the attendance scanned. Nothing else makes sense to want an under - count.
