Na, Jose Davis threw for 551 in a game in 1997. Also Crum combined for 470 against Ball State a couple weeks ago.

Thanks, Anti-Zip. What an awesome year for Crum. Only 2 interceptions.

Congratulations to your team. You could tell they wanted it and they got the job done. I was hoping for an Aggie win but at least it was an entertaining game to watch, at least until we tried whatever in the hell that last kick off was.

Who's up for a celebratory cigar after the basketball game tomorrow? We will need to meet off-campus.

Congrats Kent State, heck of a team and year!

Dustin had some amazing moves. Talk about making a ball disappear. That last play where he faked a hand off and ran in the end zone is the play of the franchise.
I hope we will look back to the Buffalo game as the win that turned the football program around the way the win at Akron in 1998 turned the basketball program around.

Great win in an exciting shootout. The boys played great and represented well. Glad they got the invite and decided to go; they had fun all week and hope this is a big stepping stone for the program. Hoping we can fend off the big boys for a little while as they certainly will come looking for Coach Lewis and spreading some P5 $$$ around.

Good comparison, AlphaFlash. I hope so, too.

Just a dream come true. The effort of the players can not be over stated. They left it on the field and I could not be more proud. Now, we need to keep it going and that will not be easy. We need to build support for our team flashfast.

It was a chilly night but well worth shivering to see this victory. The offense looked great again and next year this team will be crazy good. I just hope the defense can step it up and keep the shootouts to a minimum next year.

2019 Frisco Bowl Champions Gear

Get ‘em while they’re hot!

Pricey, but you know, I’m kind of lacking in bowl champions shirts. The first one’s the best. Besides, my Refrigerator Bowl Runner-up shirt is sort of worn through.
04-cheers

Sean Lewis is the real deal

Pricey? I like the hoodie, but think over $73 (+ s/h) is pretty dang steep. For as much as I’d like one I’m not going to spend $85. The company handling this merchandise should realize how small of a market they’d be selling to between KSU and USU and adjust the prices. Plus as soon as the game ended I got the text the school put out regarding funding the football program through the gofundme account, so I’d rather put money into my program.

Congratulations! KSU had best player, best team, best coaching, and most important, much more enthusiasm. You have a bright future.

Congrats guys, I hated losing to you back during the season but happy that we both got the "no bowl" monkey off our back.

Next year the East is looking strong..

Might be far-fetched but I dream of a world where Kent State, Buffalo, OU and yes, even the Zips all have good teams at the same time. Would be so much fun week in and out.

Congrats to this group of coaches and players. Belief is an incredible thing.

One more comment on Crum. Several announcers, including last night, have commented on him looking like he's having issues with handoffs. Last night they even said it's too late in the year to be having these problems. It's really funny when they make comments like that because it's clear they haven't seen him play before. His handoffs on RPOs look awkward because he holds onto the ball and moves with the back longer than any QB I've seen. But that's a huge part of why he's so successful running. The game sealing TD was a perfect example of that. Of course making the right choice while holding it in there is huge too and he does that incredibly well too. The other funny part of announcers being critical of it is it's only a problem if fumbles become a problem and they definitely were not.
