Chris Petersen BOH - AlonsoWDC - 12-02-2019 02:05 PM

Washington unexpectedly needs a new HC.

Jimmy Lake taking over. Interesting news, though.

Interesting.

It would never happen but if Norvell left I'd take him in a heartbeat.

I agree. He could do the job.

I believe he has a son that requires frequent treatments at very specialized medical facilities and that is why he hung around Boise State as long as he did and ultimately why he took the Washington job (proximity to Seattle). I am hoping this is not related to the condition of his child and more related to being 55 and having the means to retire and spend some really good years just relaxing and doing as he pleases.

Washington is in Seattle, yeah.

And yeah this probably has to do with his son and family affairs.

Either way, it could create another ripple effect.

Nope.

Yeah, posted that in the other thread.

Didn't imply he is becoming their new HC, but if he is, so be it.

No they don’t. Already have one.

RE: Chris Petersen BOH - AlonsoWDC - 12-02-2019 09:56 PM

Think we've already covered that.

All this talk of Peterson...

He probably simply burned out. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often with those guys.

I'm not so sure. He's a great coach. But he's spent his career building relationships out west. Never recruited the south.

Besides, sounds like he's done for a while. And retreads are not really the pattern we've followed lately.
