I thought it was only back in the 1980s that bowl deals were cut in mid-November. Lol.

Annapolis can have a big range of temperatures around Christmas. One year I went to the Military Bowl and it was 60 degrees without a cloud in the sky, gorgeous.

Another year I went and it was 20 degrees with a whipping wind, I had to leave at the Half because my wife just couldn't take it anymore despite being bundled like an Eskimo, and truth is my feet were frozen too, LOL.

And yeah it might be rain or sleet or snow, so you just don't know.

Kinda surprised we haven't heard any more announcements

Not me. Even bowls at the bottom of the totem pole are often impacted by what happens at the CFP level. There can be cascading effects down the bowl hierarchy. Even among the G5. For example, right now, the MW has two eligible floaters looking for a bowl. But if Boise gets the NY6 bid, that drops to one. And if the AAC gets the NY6 bid, then that opens up a bowl in their pool that they now can't fill, etc.

So I don't expect any significant announcements until a week from now, when the CFP rankings and NY6 slots are filled.

So there are 79 bowl-eligible teams (would have been 80 with Missouri) and 78 spots. Who's getting left out? Liberty?

Too many moving parts that have yet to move right now to know.

We know it will be an MW, MAC, CUSA, or Liberty but thats the extent of our knowledge now.

I saw that the Bahamas normally announces a week early due to international travel.

Liberty will buy their way into a bowl. The random 6-6 MAC school on the other hand
