Is there an advantage? Slightly downwind from the open doors? Easier to see the ball at that end?

What about the switch in the fifth set?

the switch stopped the comeback, and WKU won on the good end

So we're #14 in RPI and #21 in the coaches poll as we await our fate in the NCAA's. Gotta believe we'll be one of the highest ranked #2 seeds.

Doesn't the top 16 teams will be hosting since, I think, there are 4 teams at each location the first round?

That's sort of how I remembered it, but I wasn't sure. Your theory seems pretty strong!

Yes, but the rankings that we have are not from the selection committee. The only two rankings on the NCAA's website are the AVCA Coaches Poll and the RPI, neither of which are determinative of the tournament bracket. There's a chance that the committee differs from any previously published ranking.

On that note, when does the bracket get released? The page for it is up, but it's blank as of this posting.

#10 Creighton (24-5) gets swept by #4 seed St. Johns in Big East semi-finals. This stunning upset knocks Creighton out of hosting (and helps WKU's chances).
