Looks like East Texan Chad Morris might be done at Arkansas. Morris worked his way up through the high school ranks in Texas. 1 of only 4 head coaches that did not play collegiate football

I haven’t said anything about this game one way or the other. Arkansas is the worst team I’ve seen us play all year. At least they are in this one half of football.
Worst dee we’ve faced all year. No push up front at all. Secondary playing way off. Helton game plan of short pass short pass short pass run run is not putting Storey in tough situations.
If we can keep from pulling a Western in the second half we are bowl eligible. At USM is very tough. Doubt we can win there. Us against Middle at home to close out is a tossup no matter what each team’s record is. Just the way those games always play out except for one home game during Brohm tenure.
Good lord Arkansas is bad. The Lane Train would drop 70 on them.

That’s what I was thinking. I’m sure some of it is laying down on the coach. But I’m not sure I see a whole lot of talent on that defense.
I by no means think we have this in the bag. Helton needs to keep to the game plan and not try to sit on it in the second half. Brohm really got burned a couple times his first year as a head coach trying to do that. Helton was on that staff and hopefully learned from it.
