# 9 UNC hosts Notre Dame tonight at 7 on the ACC Network. They are coming off a 96-61 exhibition victory over Winston-Salem State last Friday. UNC's starting lineup against WSSU consisted of the following players (2018-19 stats included):

PG Cole Anthony (6-3 Fr.)
SG Christian Keeling (6-3 Gr./Charleston So.): 18.7 ppg, 6.9 rpg, .380 3-Pt %
G Brandon Robinson (6-5 Sr.): 3.4 ppg, 1.6 rpg, .460 3-pt %
F Garrison Brooks (6-9 Jr./Auburn): 7.9 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 0.5 bpg
F Armando Bacot (6-10 Fr.)
Key Reserves
G Andrew Platek (6-4 Jr.): 1.1 ppg, .467 FG %, .333 3-Pt %
G Leaky Black (6-8 So.): 2.5 ppg, 1.2 apg, .417 3-Pt %
F Justin Pierce (6-7 Gr./William & Mary): 11.1 ppg, 6.5 rpg, .345 3-Pt %
Against WSSU, Brooks was the standout, posting 18 points (8-10 shooting), 11 rebounds and 4 steals, 1 block and 1 assist. Bacot also posted a double-double with 10 points (4-10), 10 rebounds and 1 block. Point guard Cole Anthony added 11 points and 7 assists.
Off the bench, Justin Pierce is a familiar face after spending his undergraduate career with William & Mary. His 4th year of eligibility will be playing a key bench role for the Tarheels. Against WSSU he played 17 minutes and contributed 3 points, 4 rebounds and 1 steal.
UNC committed 23 turnovers against WSSU, which is somewhat surprising for a team with 5 upperclassmen contributing in their "top 8". Unsurprisingly, the Tarheels dominated in the post, outrebounding the Rams 56-33 and blocking 7 shots.
Tonight's game against Notre Dame will be telling on whether their turnover issue against WSSU was an anomaly or the expectation for UNC going forward.

UNC is favored by 10 tonight against Notre Dame. No spread available just yet for Friday as far as I can tell.

His family moved to just outside of NYC a few years ago and last year had the daunting task of guarding Cole. He held him to like 15 points on a cold shooting night.

Robinson played regularly in Trask too. That's quite something, especially given the career he went on to have. Cole Anthony should be an exciting player to watch tomorrow night for those of you lucky enough to go. I'm hoping that some of our young stars impress too. This is going to be a big game for them. I'm always excited to see Kai play up to better competition too. The game last year vs Clemson was when we knew we had something special with him at UNCW.

Two different mobile betting sites (Sports Betting and Bet Online) have UNC favored by 19.5.
My guess is Vegas is either wary of a backdoor cover, with UNC calling off the dogs early, and/or the idea of this being our "Super Bowl" at home.
Either way I'd consider this a "win" if we can keep the game within 20 PRIOR to UNC clearing out their bench. But I certainly don't expect it.

I used to bet all the time back in the day and got hosed quite a bit. My last bet ever a guy covered the spread on a half court shot at the buzzer. That was it for me

This has to be one of the oddest point spreads ever put together. People aren't betting on how bad we would lose to a far superior UNC squad and coach. They are betting on how bad Roy will allow the beating to be against his former and long time assistant coach and friend.
