G5 New Year 6 Bowl Race - DavidSt - 11-03-2019 06:42 AM

1.Boise State 95% of winning all out.
2.Memphis 65% of winning all out.
3.SMU 55% of winning all out.
4.Appalachian State 75% of winning all out. Be ranked outside the top 25.
5.San Diego State 65% of winning out.
6.Cincinnati 35% to win all out.
7.Navy 65%
8.La. Tech 55%
9.UCF 25%
10.UAB 15%
11.Air Force 35%
12.La.-Lafayette 15%
13.Georgia State 5%

These are 1 and 2 loss teams. 1-8 1 loss teams. 9 to 13 are 2 loss teams. 4 AAC teams are 1 loss team who could give each other another loss to be eliminated. Boise State vs San Diego State looks like be the MWC championships. App. State could face La.-Lafayette or Georgia State in the SBC title game. App. State loss sent them far behind Boise State. Boise State might be favored more by Bowl reps over Memphis right now because they are a better name brand in football than Memphis.

IMO, the AAC champ has an overwhelming chance of being the G5 rep.

The AAC is way ahead of the other G5 this year, and the committee will recognize that.

But we shall see.

I’m thinking a 12-1 Cincinnati team is your NY6 school.

Navy, Memphis, and SMU are going to beat up on each other. Cincinnati’s only major hurdles are Memphis and the CCG.

To me, those are pretty big hurdles considering Cincy almost lost to ECU while Memphis just beat SMU, and the CCG will be tough as well.

I honestly don't know who will win the AAC. Any of three or four teams could win it. It's going to be a fun November watching more of these matchups.

AAC still games:
Cincinnati still have Temple and Memphis.
Memphis still have Houston and Cincinnati.
SMU still have Navy and Tulane.
NAvy still have Notre Dame, SMU and Houston.
Boise State still have Wyoming and Utah State.
The chances for all 4 AAC schools to lose again is a lot higher since they could take each other out. Lets say Temple wins the AAC championship game? That will take the AAC out of the picture for good.

So David St., if Boise St. is the G5 rep, do they get that Pac 12 invite you’ve been clamoring about all these years?

RE: G5 New Year 6 Bowl Race - BePcr07 - 11-03-2019 10:26 AM

12-1 Cincinnati whose only loss is to B1G champion, Ohio St, is definitely the rep should it play out that way. 12-1 Memphis is also the rep.

Memphis and Cincy may have to play in back to back games as they are the last conference game for one another as well as possibly the conference championship game should neither lose another game. They very well may split those 2 games and knock the AAC out of the G5 race

Now that is a scheduling office FAIL! What good are divisions if you don’t utilize what they’re good for??

The AAC is setting themselves up to play out of the G5 rep spot.

Memphis is #1 and controls their own destiny IMO

Boise State needs a lot more AAC losses to make it. They need the AAC champ to have 2 losses

App state out now of course

My rankings:
1. Memphis
2. Cincinnati
3. SMU
4. Boise State
5. Navy

Temple could beat Cincinnati and could beat Memphis in the title game. All of the top AAC schools are playing each other which is why the chances for them to win out for the Bowl game is much harder than Boise State.

Memphis is in really good shape. All they have left is 3-6 Houston, 4-4 USF, 7-1 Cincy(at home), and then likely Cincy again(at home again).

Please don't jinx the Tigers, S20.

95% chance of winning out? Wtf lmao

They're not even that big of favorites in their next game.

Well the Committee rankings come out on Tuesday so we’ll see how the official rankings come out.

I’d switch Boise St and Navy. The NY6 would love to have an academy in it.
