Sun Belt Conference & G5 Podcasts - PushRCA - 10-31-2019 04:21 PM
Seems like there is a growing demand for this market. Several quality podcasts out there, giving supporters different, refreshing perspectives of each SBC program. I've enjoyed listening to most of them and wanted to start a thread as a way to encourage all podcasters to post on the belt board. I'd also like a centralized location to be able to listen and react. I'll get it started, as I've been contributing to Louisiana's fan podcast, Ragin Cajun Army.

It would look a lot cleaner than everyone posting new threads each time an episode is out.

I started a Georgia State podcast, STATE of Atlanta, this football season. It's been a lot of fun and we have a steady listener base. Obviously we talk mostly GSU but do give our thoughts on the other SunBelt games. We'll be recording our 11th episode tonight and have it available tomorrow. Not sun belt or G5 specifically but, "Podcast Ain't Played Nobody" is really good and gives some attention to G5 schools. Not a lot, but some. It's also extremely entertaining even though its focused on the full FBS college football picture.

Podcast aint played nobody does a good job with the G5.
The solid verbal is the best IMO but they rarely cover the G5. If you like the Pat league though....
The college football bros podcast is actually pretty good too and they are on my weekly agenda. They tend to touch all of the FBS.
The cover 3 podcast with CBS does frequent shows but is pretty meh.
The cover 2 podcast by athlon touches on the AAC a ton and is ran out of Nashville and Cincy? So that makes sense.

Then I chuckled at this line: We'd take Evans, I don't know if he'd play for us. That is the hottest take.

Not this again. Evans is a clone of Calais. We have talked about this over and over again. Mitchell has 1000 yards, Ragas would have 1000 yards had he not been injured, Calais has a shot at 1000 yards.
Evans is a good back, he will probably be 1st team SBC, but he isn’t better than Mitchell or Ragas or a healthy Marcel Murray from stAte. But he is The Guy at Appalachian State and gets the bulk of the workload. So naturally his numbers are better.
