It's got to be Butler here, right?

Butler.

I voted Butler (had already voted for St. John's).

Do we even need the poll for 9th? Anyone have DePaul over St Johns?

In a "homer-esque" move, I might put DePaul at No. 9 and StJ at No. 10. But, as I now recall, I had St. John's at (I think), No. 7. So too late for that.

Go, Demons at No. 10.

DePaul got roasted in the Sun Times earlier this week over JLP and Leitao.

I'm on the Sun Times website and can't find.

Can you please link, GW11?

It was Tribune, apologies Bill. Here you go.

Ah, yes. I had read this one previously. It's rather scathing. You are correct, GW11. And to be fair, I can't necessarily disagree with the writer.

I don't follow DePaul as closely as I did when I lived in Chicago (on two occasions from 1987 to 1993 — and the program was very competitive). It's painful to see the slippage over the past 30 years. I wonder if Steve McClain at UIC would be interested in the job at some point. He's 57. Porter Moser seems locked in at Loyola.

You might have read this article. If not, worth a look.

Until DePaul fixes its issues at the athletic administration level, any head coach will have significant barriers building a sustainable and successful program.

Agree fully.
