This will be an interesting game. SMU has added a lot of transfers from some pretty significant programs, including a QB from the Texas Longhorns who played high school ball at Arlington Lamar. To me, this game can tell us a lot about SMU.

I wasn't sold on Temple when Memphis went up there last week and had the Tigers winning by 10 or so. I'm glad we had the bye week last week and we're healthier and had the chance to watch the Tigers and the Owls go at it last week, but I'm not as confident now. It's all going to come down to ball security.

This is the first entire SMU game that I have been able to watch. The SMU QB Shane Buechele went to the same high school as my daughter, Arlington Lamar. His father was a big time baseball player for the TEXAS RANGERS and I have been by their house in Arlington many times. He looks pretty good today. Right now it is 17-7 with about 5 mintues left in the first half. It's a shame they can't fill up that relatively new on campus SMU stadium. I bet we have more at the Tulane game than SMU had at their game today.
