UC’s colors are red and black. Have their uniforms ever deviated from that?
Watching Ohio $tate and they are decked out in black with scarlet and grey accents. Annoyed that they can’t make their own colors cool.

Didn't we wear grey for a game the past several years, maybe when TT was here and we just went to UA.

They have been wearing those black jerseys for over 5 years now. Usually once a year for a night game. Probably was Nikes idea and the players liked it. The vast majority of fans would rather see them in their traditional, but one or two game a year whatever.

I've seen Tennessee go all black too. Others have as well. I consider copycatting a compliment.

I got a text last night from a Big Ten fan telling me that Ohio State stole Cincinnati's uniforms.
So yeah, we're not the only ones who thinks those uniforms are a bad look on OSU.

We had those ridiculous post season basketball uniforms in 2012 with the zubazz pants and highlighter trim that some said was... hot pink.

Most obvious the OSU fans I know hate those uniforms too. But money talks and Nike wants to sell those jerseys.

Just about team has as black or all white uniform now to go with their school colors.
Ohio State has always used black as an accent and secondary color. The all black is still very odd for them.

I don't really believe OSU has anything Scarlet anymore? Growing up in the 50/60's Scarlet was definitely the color not red like today.

Indiana is cream and crimson. Many can't remember the last time they actually used those colors on uniforms, for good reason. I take it as a high compliment that teams (including X and OSU) long to wear black. I understand the kids who play today absolutely love it. They should come play for UC and wear it regularly.
It's probably the best look in all of sports and we are fortunate enough to own it and use it regularly. I would only add that I'd like to see the glossy black UC helmets at least ten games a year. To me, it's the most iconic uniform element in our football program. If we want to build identity with a national audience, they need to see that black helmet with the bold C-paw regularly on national television.

Yep, when I think about the big brands in college football, I might not be able to tell you much about their uniforms but I have a mental image of their helmets. It's a little like some advertising--when we're sick of hearing (or seeing) it, others are just becoming aware. I never tire of the black C-Paw helmet and would actually like to see it a little more often. Maybe even in the Cotton Bowl this year.
