Stokes eligibility? - uskjtc02 - 10-04-2019 09:31 AM

Has there been a ruling yet?

We are Memphis. I'll be surprised if he is ruled eligible this year.

If its anything like Lance Thomas, we should know by January. Good thing is we dont really need him this year. Especially if the rumors of Malco's recovery are true.

He can practice while pending a ruling. Right?

Of Course...

Question is will he get a 6th year.

He already took a redshirt at Florida so he may only have 2 years of eligibility left if they don't let him play this year.

I haven't heard of any extenuating circumstances in his life so I am not sure there is a legit reason to grant him to play immediately.

You must think he'll see the floor. I do not. I hope I'm wrong, as that means he's vastly improved.

He could play for a Tubby team. Even a Josh team. Not seeing it now.

I think the only legit avenue for immediate eligibility is if Florida did not renew his scholarship. I don’t think there is clarity on that action. Florida may play ball and retro that info to whoever asks.

Deal is if he isn't allowed to play this year it likely not be a redshirt year. Just a year lost

I hear that's true and Florida will cooperate.
