It is possible. Bad scheduling. Last two games should have been against division foes. Not have divisions also a bad idea, purely a money decision. TV wants to make the schedule so better teams will always play each other. We may never play tulsa again.

We have to play Tulsa - they are in our division....

American East looks clearly easier than the West, giving Cincy the inside track to the championship game. In the west, any of 5 or 6 teams can beat each other on any week, and Memphis-SMU-Tulane look like they could each go 2-1 against each other. Hope that isnt the case and that Memphis wins out, but the west is deep.

Probably no divisions after this year.

Just FYI, when 3 teams play each other, each one can only be 2-0, 1-1 or 0-2.

I don't know what you're talking about.

But it doesn't.

East Carolina, South Florida, and UConn.

Temple doesn't look all that great neither.

I mean, we are arguable for best D in the conference. Our offense isn't clicking, but it's been better now that we're focusing a bit on our running game (195 and 237 the last two games). We're 43rd in YPG--same as ND and pretty close to Wisconsin. If we can finish a couple more drives, we're top 20 pretty easily.

Re-read what he wrote. I think you're saying the same thing.

My bad.

Those numbers are skewed a little by the Temple schedule. 4 of the 5 teams are rated 95th and below in scoring offense. The only one which isn't (Maryland 2-3) had its offensive numbers skewed by who they played. They scored 196 of their 213 points against teams which average 101st in scoring defense and only 8.5 ppg against the other two.

Beating ranked opponents going into Bowl season will be better for our ranking, BCS ranking and status related to Access Bowl selection. This is a good thing. We want to beat good, ranked teams at the end of the year for that last surge.
