Andre Iguodala finding it difficult to move on from time with Warriors

If I were the Grizzlies I wouldn't buy him out so he could go to the Lakers or back to the Warriors.

And the Warriors threw in a lightly protected first round pick a few years down the road just so we'd take him. He may not be ready to move on from Golden State, but they were sure ready to move on from him.

Yes they do.
I crack up at all the Laker fans (& others) on Twitter saying stop being greedy, you got a first for him. F you. We got a first for him and we can get another asset in moving him. We don't owe him anything.

Laker's fans are a trip. They know they have nothing to trade for Iggy, so pout about how he should be bought out.

Iggy is and will be in demand, especially after the Dec. 15th restrictions lifted. Hope he goes to Clips or Rockets or Nuggets to extend Laker's fan suffering.

The Grizzlies owe him $17,185,185 , afaik they are holding true to that contract.

After that , you are right- the new Front Office is doing a great job collecting assets, they will get at least a 2nd round pick for him [in addition to the 1st round pick we got for taking him!] and if someone trades for Iguadala the Grizz can save a portion of the $17. million.

Yes, I should have clarified. I meant they don't owe him anything by doing him favors so he can get released and go sign with who he wants.

Agree, we should definitely land another pick at least.
