I like this. In time, hopefully much sooner, much more like within the time span of a football game or two, this chant will catch fire with Monarch fans all over. I also think we can insert "O" - "D" - "U" in the chant and make it more of an ODU thing. Comments...?

There's a number of DC United supporter chants that use DCU which would be easily adapted for ODU (or any damned college that isn't William and Mary for that matter).

I always thought the OVER-RATED chant was self-defeating. Think about it: Your team just beat a ranked opponent and instead of exulting in how good they were, you loudly announce that the other guys actually weren't good at all. Seriously, how good could they be if they lost to US of all teams? I'd rather tell the world we proved that we were better than a good team, not that we proved that a good team wasn't good.

I guess I'm saying that the overrated chant is overrated.

I cant see the cheerleaders on the sideline in the new digs. They hug the wall too much.

I don’t think that’s entirely true. They can’t cross the dashed line, and in this picture you can see they’re lined up pretty much against the line (look in front of the band). I just think they’re too short (meaning the wall is too tall) and there isn’t enough room for them to back up sufficiently so everyone can see. Up in the second section I couldn’t see the group that was in front of us due to the overhang, you can even see how it blocked my view in the pic. I think it’s more of a sightline thing than them hugging the wall

No doubt their there but I can't see them from my seats either unless I look across the field to the visitor sideline.
