On the national stage Biden is the most 'electable' candidate. But he's never seemed to want to be president. He opt'd not to run last election cycle, and he didnt announce early for this cycle. I think he's doing it because of pressure from the DNC. But here's the catch. Biden is not who the DNC actually wants, but they know he's the most likeable. The whole process of the primary is simply to find who is the most liked by the crazy wackaloons that the DNC seems to be courting. If anyone has watched the Primary debates, almost all of the candidates are chasing after the Fringe Identity Politics of the far-left.
But the DNC knows that the most progressive candidate is not electable during the general election. So instead they're going to game the system. Get Biden elected, then have him setep down due to health reasons, and boom... they get their person in office without that person having to win an election.
I know people who are close to Biden and have known him and worked with him for years in Delaware. They've mentioned to me that his health is not good, and have mentioned about a recent mini stroke, that seems to have been completely ignored by the MSM.
I'm guessing the lack of coverage is due to not wanting to hurt his chances to get elected. But the DNC knows that he wont be able to serve his full term, but as long as they can use him as a way to get their chosen one in office... they'll use him.
The fact is we know the DNC doesn't care what the people want. If they cared, they'd have not given Hillary the victory even though most Dems wanted Bernie.
The DNC wont put their chosen one as the front runner because they dont want to piss off the bulk of the Dem voters. So they'll use Biden as their mule to get who they want into office.

I don't know if he will need to step down for them to bait and switch. He'd still sign all the legislation.

Biden is not likable after he voted for NAFTA and CAFTA and other bills he signed.
Bernie is likable, but it seems he is being pulled to the far left by the AOC crowd. AOC makes Bernie look moderate.
Elizabeth is not that far left wacky as AOC. She is more like the female version of that Horrowitz dude or Ralph Nadar. She cares about the people and not the bankers.
Harris is being pulled to the left.

Progressives may be thinking that, but I don't think Biden is. But the progressives would want to pick the V-P knowing that Biden couldn't possibly run again if he won and managed to last 4 years.

Since I support our President, I don’t see anyone in the field of Socialist, Leftist, Progressives that can beat him. The party of the Left has lost its way. Disjointed, infighting, back-biting, backroom dealing... Remember just because those that support that nonsense select a candidate it doesn’t mean they’ll appear at the top of the ticket.
No matter who emerges from what looks like a contest of whose smarter than a 5th grader, I am hopeful Bernie or Liz runs as a viable Third candidate.
I actually email Bernie regularly urging him to run. I urge other conservatives to do the same. Just doing my part to stir the Leftist pot that is a sh*t show.

Bernie do not vote with the Dems on the gun issues all the time. He vote against it because some far left people want to punish the gun manufactures. There is a difference between gun makers and cigarette makers. There were no secret that guns can be deadly in the wrong hands which the gun makers did not hide the fact, but the cigarette companies kept hiding the fact that their product can cause cancer. Even dipping cause cancer and vaping as well.
That is why some Republicans and a lot of Independents plus some of Trump's base would voted for Bernie over Trump. Bernie had some big leads like 10+ in states that Trump won, and may have beaten Trump in some red states. The problem was the DNC rigged the primaries. Then Clinton supporters blamed Bernie supporters and people voting third party for She Beast to loose. DNC is rigging the system again for Biden to win. They need to stop doing this, or they will not win again. They tried to rigged the primaries against Obama.

The Democrats are corrupt. That is the main thing that is driving the democrat leadership now. They know they can’t win and they know they will not change a single mind with this impeachment. That makes Biden their great white hope. His position may insulate them. As long as they can keep him propped up and viable there will not be an investigation into Hunter and the rest of their friends and relatives. No way will they allow Hunter Biden in front of the nation answering questions under oath. He is an imbecile and will take them all down. They will beetch and moan about not getting witnesses but I don’t think they push it.
This is why they hate Trump so intensely. He promised to drain the swamp and they see he means it. Nancy has trouble here with family members just as well as Biden. How prophetic was Hillary when she said “if that SOB gets elected we will all hang!”
