1. Akron is better than we thought. Not good or even decent, but they have a few pieces. A perfect game 2 opponent
2. OL seems to be a good pass blocking line. I think by the time we get to the meat of the schedule this will be a team strength. Run blocking is kinda scary. The best thing to help this will be a couple more 300+ yard passing days to get the linebackers moved back
3. Can’t wait to see DL match up with a good OL. I think they may have a chance to be special. With the guys from last year sticking on practice squads added to Marino and Co we could become a true Destination for DL talent
4. TJ throws an effective accurate, but not always beautiful deep ball. A little concerned about ability to consistently put shorter passes. In tight windows.
5. The best head coach around is still on our sideline. IMHO that’s worth at least 3 points per game, probably closer to 6
