Q1 - Bcatbog - 09-07-2019 06:46 PM

I had to I initially follow the game on my phone at our grand daughter’s Volleyball game. Other than the scoring got little.

I am now watching the game. IMO the missed FG simply killed us. It was only 7 - 0 at the end of Q1 and we were driving. It looked a game at that point.

Does a post game film analysis blame the block on the line or the kicker?

I thought both on my viewing. Kick was too low but too much penetration at point of attack too

We had a guy on the right side of the line who totally Ole’ed his man...dude was almost untouched. It was a yakkity sax worthy blocking effort. Saw a lot of that today, though.

It was a kick that never should have been blocked because it should have never been attempted. Go for the first.

Until that play... there was hope. Slapping that FG back in our face... crushed our hope.
We were morally beaten right then and there.

I don't think Chase Young even broke a sweat. He probably exerted himself more from putting on his shoulder pads than he got from our line.

That kick was so low it wouldn’t have cleared the O line if it hadn’t been blocked.

From that distance you barely need a lead up. Could chip it like a soccer ball and send it flying above the uprights.
