John Delaney suggests some Dems are 'cheering on a recession' to hurt Trump - CrimsonPhantom - 08-22-2019 02:27 PM Quote:Democratic 2020 hopeful John Delaney suggested that some within his party are "cheering on a recession" so that President Trump's re-election chances are diminished. Link RE: John Delaney suggests some Dems are 'cheering on a recession' to hurt Trump - Owl 69/70/75 - 08-22-2019 02:31 PM Of course they are. Some people would get hurt in a recession, but WTF difference does that make when there is a socialist/communist/collectivist agenda to be implemented. "Keep 'em dumb, keep 'em poor, keep 'em dependent on handouts, and you'll keep 'em voting democrat." And a recession means more people dependent on handouts. RE: John Delaney suggests some Dems are 'cheering on a recession' to hurt Trump - NCeagle - 08-22-2019 02:34 PM let's be honest, if the roles were flipped, and it was a dem in the WH right now, republicans would be hoping for a recession too. Both sides mostly only care about political power. I'm sorry, I view myself as a Republican, but wouldn't want a recession... Just got done with one, it sucked, prefer to have the economy buzzing along.. If that meant keeping the status quo then so be it. Complete bullspit. For the lost decade we wandered through with zerO in there wrecking our health insurance system and costing people BOTH their Doctors AND their plans, not once did I wish that ill on anyone else in the world. Similarly not once would I "hope" for a recession as that benefits no one, nor the Country in macro. I want everyone in this joint to be as stinkin rich as they can stand, the USA to be big, robust and strong, a rising tide floats all boats. To cheer otherwise is simply dumb people being dumb- to wit the pom-pom waver cheering this possibility on publicly, that two-bit clown Maher More projection

Ya'll do realize I'm talking about politicians, and not the average citizen, right? RE: John Delaney suggests some Dems are 'cheering on a recession' to hurt Trump - Owl 69/70/75 - 08-22-2019 03:05 PM I view myself as a supporter of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and growth. That used to make me favor the republicans, but they have sort of gotten off message lately. Of course, democrats haven't even considered that message in a while. Bill Clinton, as President Bill, probably qualifies, but not the Bill Clinton of today. What I've got to choose from are 1) republicans who may pay lip service to that message, but that's absolutely as far as it goes, and 3) democrats to whom that message is anathema. I'll take whatever is behind door #3, Monty. RE: John Delaney suggests some Dems are 'cheering on a recession' to hurt Trump - Redwingtom - 08-22-2019 03:10 PM Recession. Recession. Recession

RE: John Delaney suggests some Dems are 'cheering on a recession' to hurt Trump - Redwingtom - 08-22-2019 03:17 PM Maher's case is simple. he thinks that four more years of trump policies and judge appointments will destroy this country through ridiculous laws and the complete ignoring of the most pressing issue of our time, climate change. Not to mention our historic descent into a laughing stock on the world stage. Not to mention our historic descent into a laughing stock on the world stage. 1. If Obama didn't destroy this country in 8 years with his silly laws and policies Trump won't. Just because Maher and other liberal talking heads don't like it doesn't mean their wrong.. Just because Hannity and other conservative talking heads like doesn't mean it's right. But to think a country can be destroyed in 8 years is silly. 2. We were a laughing stock under W according to liberals and somehow we rose to prestige under BHO? Wrong, BHO didn't get us anywhere, he kissed the other countries hind ends to look more favorable to them, and what did it get us? ****** trade deals and treaties that haven't panned out... Trump's not worried what other countries think of the US, he's worried about getting the best deal for the US and at any cost. The idiocy they spout makes Obama look centrist. The economy was growing out of that recession and was hitting full steam by the time he left office. I'm not sure how that is such a hard concept for people to grasp.
