The early season non-conference games will be key to getting a decent seed in the NCAA tournament. Hopefully, the Italy trip will help the team get off to a strong start.

Do we play Loyola Marymount twice in the Adidas Tournament at Rice (Sept. 6 and then again on Sept. 7th)? If so, it's 6 matches against 5 opponents.
Volleyball could be really good, We return everyone pretty much except Shelby Livingstone (who is now a grad asst. at Baylor BTW). If the Kansas City freshman is ready to replace her in the lineup, there's a very good chance we're better in 2019 than in 2018 (especially if the Wichita State transfer is making an impact too.

Here's hoping Lola and family know that Rice doesn't have a medical school per se. (See quote near end of article) She probably refers to quality undergrad programs and proximity to the Med Center.
