Sometimes it goes from just playful banter to legit hate.
It's the legit hate that I'm not comfortable with. I'd rather just poke fun at each other, laugh at each other, laugh at ourselves, and like you said move on.
I don’t think any Charlotte folks hate Marshall.
We think your fans are smarmy know it alls that live in the past and think that they are too good for a conference they don’t dominate, don’t think other sports matter, and they their football history is all that matters.
And if their is hate from Charlotte folks, this was started by Marshall people on this board long ago. If Marshall people are offended, they are reaping what they so.
And the fact that clt is running around streaking in Huntington’s mind will always be funny.

The fact that you aren't even being mentioned at all in any of the realistic potential scenarios where the AAC goes back to 12 should ring the bell that your football history alone isn't enough, but still you think you have "earned" it? Marshall hasn't done enough yet to qualify for the AAC's interest. I don't know what you can do to get to that point, but you haven't earned enough "points" with the AAC to qualify for their interest with what you currently are offering. No one in C-USA is ticking enough boxes for the AAC.

Yeah, I agree with you.
Unfortunately no one here has done enough currently to separate themselves. All I know is we have some good passionate fans here on this board who want to see their teams improve.

So now that Marshall has a legitimate soccer complex, a coach talking about national championships with fans now showing up and supporting, a candidate for national player of the year, and a core group that's set to run wild, how are you going to be better in soccer than Marshall 2019 and going forward?

Man, just let them have this. When you are to the point where kickball with nets is your major source of athletic pride you need a win on the message boards. It is cute how they transitioned from "we're a basketball school" to "we're a soccer school" since their basketball has been such a bust in CUSA.
