Hope he earns a roster spot. That would suck to leave a year early, to not get drafted, and then get cut.

Troy would have been tied with ARKST and APP, but we had four all-conference guys on defense transfer out. Brandon Hall is more than qualified to run the Troy defense, but it's going to be really hard to replace, Folsom, Jones, Murray, and Barker.

This is the main reason i dropped Troy in my projections...

Predictions for the Final all-SBC team in December:
I see Caleb Evans' numbers going down this season without Gore, Turner, and Green and Shai Werts taking one of the top all-SBC QB spots. Our OC took over QB coaching after last season and has said he's made some big strides in the spring.
We'll have a pick at RB because we're Georgia Southern and they'll rack up rushing yards.
At least one guy from our linebackers will make it. They will be a much improved unit this season.
Our right tackle Brian Miller will be first-team all-SBC unless he's injured for a significant portion of the season. He had a good season last year and was recognized by Phil Steele as all-SBC and our OC said he was the most improved player in the spring.

Left early only to go UDFA? I thought he had high prospects.

He was in a tough spot, on one hand his interception numbers were down last yr because qbs stayed away from him, this yr was probably going to be no different, so to the NFL scouts his numbers were not going to look very impressive, and he risked injuries, but on the other hand, from a technical stand point he could has used another yr to improve his skills, just don’t think he was as polished and ready to play at the next level, he took a chance, I don’t know where he is but I hope it works out for him.

I actually see his TD going up and int down. They were forcing the ball to Marcus last year. Both he and OC it cause some
If those turnovers. When Marcus was injured part of game and he spread the wealth he was successful. Gore was solid guy but not a game changer. Johnson the JUCO guy that we picked up late last year should have a good year and Isaac Phillips gives ULM a guy with some speed and wiggle. Gore leaving not as big as you might think. Turner was a cancer in the locker room and the rumor is the players aren’t sat to see him to. Look for Pederson production to step up at Tight end. Evan’s was also apparently not as focused last season because joining his frat. That seems to not be th issue this season. I don’t think his Numbers will fall at all besides maybe yards because the rushing yards might go up more.
