Basketball Season Parking Pass - MemDawg91 - 07-01-2019 07:17 PM Can anyone tell me how to get a parking pass if I decide to get basketball season tickets this year? Is it a separate option to buy one like football or are they assigned based on seniority? I think it will be hard to get this year if attendance is what I think it will be based on AD dept info. RE: Basketball Season Parking Pass - Tigerdawg - 07-02-2019 11:57 AM My wife and I ride the charter bus from Germantown. We get there at least 30 minutes prior to tipoff, I don't have to lose my temper fighting Memphis traffic morons, and we spend about the same amount of money we would have spent on a parking pass. The only drawback is that if we want to stay downtown and do anything before/after the game, we would need to Uber back to Germantown. Just another option to think about. Charter bus? Please tell me more. FIFY.....Sorry, it's my first time.....couldn't resist....This is gonna be an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC season...Let's embrace one another and kick everyone else's ARSE RE: Basketball Season Parking Pass - covingtontiger - 07-04-2019 08:21 AM The TSF sells parking spots in the garage. Whether you qualify to buy one depends on your donation level and your history with TSF, which sets your priority. I qualify, but donate much less than the $5K mentioned in another post. RE: Basketball Season Parking Pass - covingtontiger - 07-04-2019 08:29 AM Another parking option would be the surface lots on Peabody Place and Fourth. Cost is $10 per game. You can walk two or three blocks and get out of downtown much quicker than you can exit the parking garage. I gave you details. Call Tiger Club. Due to demand, they will tell you it’s a $5K minimum donation (per seat counts obviously) and are probably sold out unless you have a boatload of points that they would bump someone for you. My basketball seats are up for renewal in August. I book a parking pass at the same time that I pay for my seats. RE: Basketball Season Parking Pass - covingtontiger - 07-04-2019 04:46 PM As for the Charter Bus, here is last year's announcement. I would expect the 2019 plans to be announced in October. https://gotigersgo.com/news/2018/10/25/memphis-announces-mens-basketball-fan-shuttle-plans.aspx RE: Basketball Season Parking Pass - Tigerdawg - 07-08-2019 09:47 AM (07-04-2019 04:46 PM)covingtontiger Wrote: As for the Charter Bus, here is last year's announcement. I'll try to find the info tonight and post it. RE: Basketball Season Parking Pass - Tigerdawg - 07-09-2019 08:43 AM Here's the info on the guy that runs the charter bus from Germantown: CJ’s Shuttle & Charter Service Charters, Airport Shuttle Basketball Games, Local Tours, Amusement He's a really great guy, and we always have a bus full of Tiger fans. I'll send you his phone number in PM. He's usually there 1.5 hours ahead of tip-off and, we're usually there by 30-45 minutes ahead of tip. He leaves 30 minutes after the game ends. I don't think he charged for an entire season. I think Cline was charging $20/person round trip from Collierville. |
