BGSU #1 Recruiting Class in MAC right now per The Blade. It doesn't matter though. We are still gonna crush them again this year. It's still early and plenty of time for UT to move up the rankings.

All they have to offer is playing time. Every spot on that roster should be an open competition. I'd play 22 freshmen, take my lumps and be competitive in 3 yrs.
After having several #1 recruiting classes and only one title in 14 yrs, I don't put much stock in rankings. I've seen kids with all kinds of accolades flame out and others with zero stars become starters.

UT, 14 commits with 9 three star. UT has the MAC's top ranked QB and Receiver so far.

Actually, WMU is #1. UT is three, but with fewer commits and the second best rating per recruit.

Took my lumps from the board when I said their new coach was going to give us more than we've gotten used to. I still think I'm right. Hasn't coached a game for the school and he pulls in a top ranked recruiting class. And he'll know how to use them and keep them in the game. If he does end up as young as it looks, he'll try to Amstuzt us to give young troops a breather. He'll use as much of his depth as he can because our major advantage I think will the be conditioning that maturity brings. Conditioning and value added are Coach Candle's strong points IMO. Field discipline and D play calling, needing some work. Too many holes to exploit. Let's see what the other guy can bring.
