They took the standard UCONN logo ... then had an intern using the standard Microsoft Office font library "do their best" to add football to it. Wrong font. Wrong size. Wrong kerning. It's all wrong. Then they take the most ghastly faux 3D rendering of a UCF helmet they can find and slap it on there with yet another font. And then this abomination is hung on a sad forlorn cylinder block wall like your elementary school was made of. Only the finger paintings hung on the walls in your elementary school are more imaginative. And below sits the trophy that when UCF won it, they left it on the field. UCONN and UCF ... rivals in literally no capacity in literally no sports and coming soon literally never on each other's schedule.

I don't care what anybody in the Triangle or Greensboro says ... this is why UCONN would never ever EVER have been in the ACC. Suing the ACC just put an emphatic exclamation point on that.

Yes, that attempt at manufacturing a rivalry was part sad and part hilarious. IIRC, George O'Leary was HC at UCF at the time and was approached by a reporter asking what he thought of the new "rivalry" mentioned by the UConn folks to which he replied WTTE of "don't know anything about it". LOL.

You forgot to mention that the "trophy" actually looks a lot like a basketball scoreboard. Coincidence? I think not.
