Probably because Tiger was ranked #12 in the World before he won the Masters and had the 4th best odds to win at 14-1.
It may have been to surprising given all his trials and tribulations. But it was not an upset.

I guess, though given how long it had been since he'd won a major and what happened in that time, no matter the odds I was still surprised that he actually did it. Though I suppose you can also make the case that Tiger Woods can never pull an upset because so many people still think he's synonymous with golf and that affects the line, or odds, or whatever the hell they use to bet with.
And it's ESPN. It's a wonder they didn't find a way to nominate him for Best Female Athlete With a Disability.

Sent the link to my work team! Although one of them is a Hokie and may not give us a vote lol. I knew that the upset would give us some major publicity but the thought of potentially winning an ESPY for it nearly a year later is incredible. I hope we get it!
