Democratic debates later this month - Fort Bend Owl - 06-14-2019 09:41 PM

The first debate on Wednesday, June 26, in Miami will include:
Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren
Former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke
New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker
Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro
Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard
Washington Gov. Jay Inslee
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio
Former Maryland Rep. John Delaney
Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan

The second debate on Thursday, June 27 will include:
Former Vice President Joe Biden
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders
South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg
California Sen. Kamala Harris
New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand
Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet
Author Marianne Williamson
California Rep. Eric Swalwell
Businessman Andrew Yang
Former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper

Warren probably gets a bit of a raw deal - she is the only one out of the top five currently in the polls on that first night.

Not really she gets to battle Spartacus. These are going to be fun to watch, as they fall over each other to see who can go the furthest left.

Prime opportunity for Tulsi to shine.

Pochahontas will actually benefit by avoiding the onslaught of night 2. She will be able to get her message out, without much reputable pushback.

Anyone supporting any of these bums has serious judgment issues.

One should become President, one should become Vice President, and the rest should all become cabinet or senators.

Since FOX is banned, except for NPC's, no one will see them.

Lester Holt and others will be throwing softballs and anti-Trump questions.

1) How much do you hate Donald Trump?
2) What do you think about Donald Trump's golf club?
3) How many charges do you think Donald Trump should be impeached on?
4) How much do you hate kelly Anne Conway and Ben Carson for supporting Donald Trump?

Not necessarily. It will give the media a chance to put all the spotlight on her. Saw one article suggesting much of MSM is backing her, trying to revive her campaign.

I'm torn between watching this LaughFest or just skipping it altogether. I can't imagine myself being interested in finding out what they believe in as I already know. Maybe they'll start to tear each other up as they have to show their good points (if they even have any) and their opponents bad ones.

I'll skip it. Hoping some from the board will take one for the team and post the h̶i̶g̶h̶l̶i̶g̶h̶t̶s̶ low lights.

When they accept 20 candidates and you *still* don’t make the cut?

Ignored. Rejected. Sad!!

Steve Bullock, Governor of Montana
Mike Gravel, former US Senator from Alaska
Wayne Messam, Mayor of Miramar, Fla.
Seth Moulton, Congressman from Massachusetts
