As mentioned, he had an explicit photo of an underage girl on his phone. He was also charged with the promotion of a child to perform sexually explicit acts involving a girl who was 15 years old at the time.

He was offered a plea deal where he pleaded no contest to 2 lesser, misdemeanor charges. The two other young men were also offered plea deals, but not as good as the one that Harvey got.

Does Kansas have the same laws as Ohio when it comes to minors and disclosure of felonies/sex related crimes? They're not the most contemporary state when it comes to ideas on most matters like that.

Fair point, but I would assume the details shouldn’t be leaked prior to a guilty verdict when it involves a minor and in this case it ended up being a misdemeanor. What if he would have been found completely innocent and they had already leaked the information? Just seems strange and if it’s not the law they need to look at changing it but people are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty but anymore people are already found guilty in the court of public opinion before any evidence is even looked at sadly.
