2024. I can see it now.....
....NIU will be following up back to back NYD games (having lost in the title game 2022 to Kansas and Les Miles after beating PJ Fleck and Minnesota) with 2nd year HC Jordan Lynch (Hammock will be 2 years removed as he is leading the rebuilding Patriots) lead by his younger brother at QB and Heisman trophy candidate.
....enrollment will be at an all time high of 29k.....
...this will be NIUs last year in the MAC as they will be part of the B12 expansion plan with their new 125 million dollar expansion to 50k of Huskie Stadium (to be known as Nestle Purina Pound) to be ready in 2025.
.....Otto's will re-open with Mr. Blotto performing a residency that September. This follows in the footsteps of McCabe's, Lukulos and the Jungle reopening, the latter being the last step in the revitalization of Hillcrest Ave.
.....and let's not forgot the new "supersized", 10,000 SF "Paperback Grotto XXX-L" opening on Sycamore Rd.
