We went to Auld Mess for a basketball game (Tigers vs. Webels) about 20 years ago. As we walked by a frat house on campus, one of the residents hung his bare but-tocks (as Forrect Gump would have said) out the window at us. You know how you always think of things later that you should have said right then? This time the right words came to me immediately and I yelled "That looks just like every other Auld Mess fan I ever saw".
Now that I think of it, the writer of this piece may have been the guy I saw that day.

I sat through the Egg Bowl last year in Oxford.
Never thought I'd witness "that game" played in a half full stadium, but I did. Kudos to the 15k Rebel fans who managed to show up and join the 15k Mississippi State fans watch the Bulldogs kick that black bear @ss.
Funny how they choose to continually pretend to be the program they are not...

ATHLON predicts OM to come in #6 in the SEC's West Division. This is just ahead of the worst team in the West.....Arkansas which finished 2-10 last year under former SMU Coach Chad Morris.

As I recall, they have always been so proud of their fine stadium that they used to host Memphis in Jackson, not Oxford, and they once hosted a home game vs Tennessee in the Liberty Bowl.
