Good run for ULM.

Eagles vs. Chants in the Championship Game.

This is the Rodney Hennon special here. Coastal is out of pitching. We have Shuman, Whitney, Harris, and even Nahas ready to pitch. Please shut me up, Rodney. Losing this game would be an epic choke.

If they win a ship, I will personally take back every negative thing I said about him and go jump in a river, however Rodney Hennon is notorious for giving the big ones away

Coastal's number 1 pitcher has had as much rest as Shuman has.

Right on que.

How in the world is losing to CCU in the Championship an epic choke? We all know what outcome you are pulling for here.

Might want to learn to enjoy the moment.

coastal doesnt need much pitching if they keep scoring 12-26 runs per game. no lead seems safe with these guys.

This is the third time in four years GS is in the title game. That, to me, is a pretty good run.

Hennon didn't serve up two gopher balls to USA in the ninth inning two years ago. Nor did he recruit Wyatt Marks to the Cajuns the year previous.

But go ahead and hammer the guy. I'll hang up and listen.

I think Hennon does well with what he has. My biggest criticism is that we regularly lose to teams we have no business losing to. But should he be fired? No

No one (except maybe eagleskins) is ticked at Hennon over the CCG losses. We usually play over our seed in the conference tournament and winning tournaments with middling seeds is how Hennon has survived this long.

It's more consistent underachieving in the regular-season that's more frustrating, and not just the last 2 seasons or even the last 5. It goes back to the SoCon days when we've watched conference mates get at-large bids while we win tournaments and end up facing the host team because we did so poorly in the regular-season. You bring up the loss in the tournament two years ago, but that was also the season we had series wins over 3 of the top 4 Sun Belt teams and still ended up the #5 seed because of so many bad conference losses.

He's not an awful coach, but when a coach has been here 20 seasons you know what you've got and it doesn't make sense to just hope it will get better.

We have lost out on at-large bids many times due to losses in the regular season to very poor teams. With that said you can count on Hennon to get 30-35 wins most seasons and generally do well in the conference tourney although we don t win them alot

Coastal throws so many wild pitches its hard to fathom.

3 run homer to tie it up.

Right on time...

While Gilmore is cycling through pitchers methodically while we wait until our guys give up 3 runs and are clearly spent before making changes. Then after we get down 2 runs then we go to our top reliever who has been resting for several days.

Congrats, Coastal.

Gary Gilmore is coaching circles around Rodney Hennon right now

There’s the Coastal fans we’ve missed this season. We missed your arrogance. Congrats on another postseason appearance. Make us proud.
