I don't think anybody else is transferring out. We can still add one more simply by moving Jayden to walk-on.

Then if Tucker leaves, we have room for another. I don't think this is done yet.

I don't get the "let's just keep what we have" attitude. Trust Penny. He got 4 of these guys in a week. If he wants to add another, or replace Tucker if he leaves, more power to him.

The reason I say keep what we have is because we are already loaded. It's not like I would say I'm done with the team if we added another player lol. But this is my POV:

I don't think there's anybody left that can "put us over the top" so to speak. Penny filled every vacancy for every position: guard, wing, big. If we were lacking at any spot then by all means fill a hole. On paper, there is no glaring weakness.

I'm not sitting here thinking (and I don't think anyone is or should be), "man if we just could get ___ we'd be set!"

I agree with all that. But Watford and RJ are still out there. We have a spot left if Jayden goes to walk on. Either one would make us even better.

And if Tucker leaves, we could theoretically take both, if they wanted to come. Never turn down studs. Penny can sort out the details later.

His doing private workouts for multiple teams, hearing he has impressed some teams as well. He has nba ready body.

He’s obviously hearing from someone that he’s got a shot. But do you leave the Vegas favorite national championship team for a non-guaranteed second round spot? I don’t know.

Rayjon may have a tough decision. The G-League is an option, also. I hope he remains, but he needs to pursue his dream if it is a realistic option.

(05-18-2019 09:22 AM)dwash Wrote:  I really hope Rayjon stays. Honestly a lights out shooter who is high level break finisher has as much value as a freshman Watford or maybe even Hampton. Hampton is great but this isnt the Drose era. Look at the FF teams like Virginia, Auburn, TT. Or Villanova last year. Shooting, shooting and more shooting.

That same G-League deal will be there next year as well... However, it reeks of a "fool's bet" rn.... If he forgoes the opportunity to get tutelage and hone his talents alongside lottery candidates, he's squandering "potential" guarantees and MILLION$ 05-nono

Easy to sit back and say on a conputer. When you are grinding everyday...that 200K 2 way offer might look pretty good.

Please have the Utah Jazz offer Rayjon Tucker a $70,000 G League contract, so we can have the best recruiting class of all time, and see teams try to guard a Hampton, Boogie, Harris, Precious, and Wiseman lineup.

I was completely ecstatic that we got Wiseman and DJ. Everything that came next was basically overwhelming for me.

I’ve been the biggest Hampton fan here since I joined. But a bird in the hard is worth two in bush. Say Rayjon gets an offer and stays in draft. Say Hamptons dad rethinks his decision and tells RJ to sign with KU where he will be the MAN. We will have lost a key player in our F4 run.

Like I said at the time when RJ's dad made the statement about 2 many cooks--he meant it literally---he meant that you CAN have too many cooks in the kitchen---he meant keep singing all these guards---and we are gone.

Hampton choose delay while Tucker acted. It is too risky for us to wait, despite Hampton’s immense talent.

Besides, Tucker is an experienced and very skilled player who may exceed Hampton’s production for next season. I hope Tucker stays, but will understand if he grasps an NBA opportunity.

Tucker would be the best player on this team next year. And that's saying something. Hope he stays.

But if he has a shot at $200,000, go for it. Dream.

Ricky Bobby: Dear tiny infant Jesus…
Carley Bobby: Hey, um… you know sweetie, Jesus did grow up. You don’t always have to call him baby. It’s a bit odd and off puttin’ to pray to a baby.
Ricky Bobby: Well look, I like the Christmas Jesus best, and I’m sayin grace. When you say grace, you can say it to grown up Jesus, or teenage Jesus, or bearded Jesus, or whatever you want.

A lot of people do not realize the Biblical Jesus is the God of the OT and created the heavens and the earth. He existed long, long before He humbled Himself to the flesh and was born as a baby. There are a lot of OT chapters where He speaks in the first person 7+centuries before His earthly birth. Isaiah 49 for example. Its an entire chapter by Jesus addressed specifically to people on the other side of the planet a long time in the future (Americans for example).

Even most secular historians now fully agree He was real and crucified and buried just as told in the NT.

If this triggers you this bad then stop trying to argue about it and tell others to stop bringing Him up.
