Two dream teams for 2019-2020 Which is the best? - WiseMan - 04-20-2019 11:45 AM
Memphis: RJ Hampton, Lester Quinnones, DJ Jefferies, Precious Achiuwa/Trendon Watford and James Wiseman. (As it stands as of today: Baugh/Lomax, Harris, DJ Jeffries, Dandridge/Maurice and James Wiseman. Definitely issues at PG and shooting possibly better on D but we know it’s not staying this way)
Duke: Tre Jones, Cassius Stanley, Wendell Moore, Matthew Hurt, Vernon Carey.
Duke’s are signed/committed. 3 of ours are being recruited by a lot of teams. Depth plays a big issue but Coach K will be playing 7 by NCAA tournament. Not sure what Penny does.

I see Harris more as instant offense off the bench than a starter.

Penny will start whomever is producing in practice and on the court.
He wont play favorites as was proven when he benched alo and Harris to a certain extent last season.
Excluding matchups of course. Although I dont see Harris being a favorable matchup due to his size and they both can shoot.

Why would you assume it's an either/or situation. There had been some talk that they might not want to play on the same team, but I am not completely sure that it is true.
Don't sleep on Lance. He will be an absolute beast next season!

Well, we're talking dream teams here. We still got a lot of work to do to make our roster come in place. Duke is basically finished.

Not saying you are wrong because I’ve haven’t even pulled any footage on Thomas. What are you basing your optimistic projection on?
Just on what I’ve heard from the coaches and others. Can’t remember who it was, but I heard a guy in the radio who went to many practices saying that he was the most likely pro on the team.

I’ve been following recruiting very closely and while some of media are swinging Watford to LSU and his Dad made some nice comments about Wade (though not as glowing as about Mike, Penny and Wiseman), I’m curious as to why you state as fact that he won’t be on the team?

not sure that is any gauge given the heavy lack of pro capable talent on last year's roster.

Well that’s true. But I remember the guy on the radio was very well thought of. Wish I could remember who it was.

Two different peeps who attend practices told me the same thing.
