Marshall has picked up a transfer from Ole Miss. She will sit a year then have 3 seasons of eligibility remaining.

clt says Karen will retain all lady niners

Rice has a girl leaving now in Tayler Bennett. She probably played less than Louisiana Tech's Nikki McDonald, and is graduating early in three years so good luck to her.

UAB's Talia Roldan (6-4 soph. who hasn't played much in her first two years) is transferring to Arkansas State. I added her to the first post.

A couple new additions to the list - FAU is losing its second leading scorer (Myka Johnson-Matthews - she's heading to Towson as a graduate transfer). They are getting new transfers from Boise State and USF, but I'm not sure if either will be immediately eligible.

USM is losing two bench players - Shania Edgecomb and Kennedy Gavin.

Middle Tennessee had a freshman, Mykia Dowdell, who saw very little PT, transfer out to etsu.

We will likely have a couple of more leave as well due to the incoming talent.

Our incoming class is probably the most talented class ever to sign with Rick Insell. one service ranked MT's class as #36, and that was before the late additions of Whitson and Willock.

Courtney Whitson, 6-1 F, Kingsport Dobbyns Bennett HS (20 plus offers, signed with MT after a late push by Missouri)

Aislynn Hayes, 5-6 G, Murfreesboro Riverdale HS, won 3 straight state titles, younger sister to utk transfer Anastasia. Two more sisters at home, one of which may be better than her older sisters -all four have been photographed wearing MT uniforms.

Taylor Lewis, 5-10 G/F, Spring Valley HS, Columbia, SC, slasher with great vision, good offensive skills, tenacious defender

Kiya Turner, 5-6 CG, Ponte Vedra, Fla. cousin of former Lady Raider, Ebony Rowe, all time leading scorer and rebounder at MT.

incoming transfers

Rellah Booth, 6-3 F, NWFJC, play at Texas as a freshman, McDonalds All American Game MVP in 2017, the nation's No. 3 overall recruit and No. 1 forward in the class of 2017, according to the espnW Hoop Gurlz Top 100. Blue Star Report rated her as the No. 2 player in the class of 2017.

Anastasia Hayes, 5-7 G, transfer from utk, Sixth Woman of the Year in the Southeastern Conference in 2017-18, sat out 2018-19, native of Murfreesboro, Riverdale HS, WBCA All-American, Naismith All-American, McDonalds All-American and MaxPreps First-Team All-American in high school, No. 7-rated player in the country in 2017

Eternati Willock, 6-4 C, New Mexico JC NJCAA runnerup, #2 juco center, All Big XII freshman at KState

Ra'Shika White, 6-4 C, junior transfer from Elon, sat out 18-19 season, CAA Sixth Player of the Year in 2017-18, as well as an All-CAA selection, averaged 12.6 points and 6.0 rebounds in just 18.4 mpg

MT also just today added a grad transfer from Virginia, a 6-3 forward, Shakyna Payne, who didn't see a lot of minutes at UVA. Should at the very least add more depth.

Arame Niang is transferring from Western Kentucky. She was a decent post off the bench for them (she had a nice 1st half in the CUSA tournament against Rice).

The Benson sisters are going to UTA.

UNT is getting two new transfers (a post from Chattanooga and a 5-10 guard from New Mexico). They also are losing a former starter (6-4 Micayla Buckner - didn't play this past year though) to New Mexico State.
