C-USA 4.0 needs a dominant team to emerge, but I don't see it. Still, I think with stability and familiarity, we're improving. We're pulling our bottom up again probably.

Western has already rebuilt.....

now it's a question if they hired the correct General Contractor to do the job.

See y’all in next year’s thread. Maybe we can get over this premature enumeration.

You finally visit the Rock WKU! Long overdue.

I think we were 128 last year, so 125 is a clear indication of the progress we are making under Bloomgren.

Why not go after coach Graham again?

Central Michigan says hello.

RE: Orlando Sentinel: 2019 countdown - ODU Oldtimer - 04-24-2019 09:34 PM

Where is Aggie...………………….. he has done this for like 6 or7 years?

RE: Orlando Sentinel: 2019 countdown - ODU AGGIE - 04-24-2019 11:17 PM

OT, I just don't feel up to it this year. I kind of hoped I could get FriscoDawg to take over the projections, but he has not answered a couple of emails I sent his way. How about it, FD? Want to take it over this year?

UTSA is in at 122

RE: Orlando Sentinel: 2019 countdown - Kruciff - 04-25-2019 12:14 PM

It's a race to the bottom!

RE: Orlando Sentinel: 2019 countdown - Cardiff - 04-25-2019 05:07 PM

Prediction: 1 of those 3 horrible teams in CUSA/West — UTEP, Rice, or UTSA — will have a “break-out” year and go 4-8.

Geez 3 CUSA teams 2 MAC and only one SBC?!? The USTA ranking is a head scratcher.

RE: Orlando Sentinel: 2019 countdown - Side Show Joe - 04-25-2019 09:03 PM

I sure hope this ranking is no where near accurate, and our programs outperform these expectations. It is very hard for C-USA to improve our perception when we continue to dominate the bottom of rankings like these. For me personally, the fact that all of these programs are from C-USA West makes it even worse. 03-hissyfit

Texas schools showing out early!

Yes, but on the bright side, if these ranking turn out to be accurate, my North Texas team should retain our Texas Champ title.

Although I have to admit, I did not expect UTSA to land this low on the list. I thought Charlotte would be our next team. I know the Runners are a bit down, but should they actually collapse like this, Wilson has to be fired.

RE: Orlando Sentinel: 2019 countdown - Magic95Fan - 04-25-2019 09:51 PM

This probably would have been the offseason to part ways with Wilson. It's pretty obvious that UTSA is about to start a rebuild, why not let a fresh coach be the one to start it.

clt says Charlotte ended the season with a win. Momentum is carrying over to this year

So did Rice.

RE: Orlando Sentinel: 2019 countdown - USM@FTL - 04-26-2019 09:12 AM

The bottom of the west division is easily worse than the east division. There should be a significant gap between UTSA and either UAB or La Tech. I would expect either of those 2 to come in around 70-80. I think USM and UNT will crack the top 50.

6-5 usually doesn't get you much respect leading into the next season. Neither does losing by 39 to Utah State in your bowl game. But I can see UNT being rated higher higher because of Fine being back
