A while back I heard a commentator say that the Aggies had more lefthanded pitchers than he had ever seen on a roster. So I checked. Sure enough, they have nine lefthanded pitchers and eight righthanded. Since 10-12 percent of the population is lefthanded, statistically that is a very unlikely situation. Getting lefthanded pitchers is not hard, but getting southpaws good enough to compete at a high D1 level is tough (Aggies are currently ranked #10). Since their staff has a collective ERA of 2.90, I guess their lefthanders must be pretty fair.
