This makes 2 straight years a former Little Rock coach has made the Final Four. Porter Moser at Loyola-Chicago last year.

Also former Little Rock coach Wes Flanigan is an assistant for Auburn and they have a shot to the final four too.

the unlimited funds, good facilities and the recruiting advantage of being a B12 school helps a good coach succeed.

Wasn't our Coach Ogden one of this guy's assistants last year? And weren't they both former associates or disciples of Rick Barnes? This final 4 is wide open. Good luck to Ttech. So sorry that UH got bounced.

How would you like to be a UNLV fan. Think you've hired Beard away from Little Rock, the board of trustees doesn't like the contract and is holding it up and you lose Beard to Texas Tech and don't even get a buyout because the school never signed the contract.

That's funny. What's even funnier is that Arkansas fans think that they could hire Beard away from Texas Tech. He makes almost $1 million more than they were paying Anderson, and he's built a powerhouse at Texas Tech.

Ogden was an assistant at Tech after working under Barnes for a few years at Texas and Tennessee. Beard was a longtime associate head coach under Bobby Knight and then his son Pat at Tech for a decade.

Texas Longhorn fans are certain they can still get him away from Tech.
