ODU in WNIT. 5 teams from Conference USA in the field. Granted this isn’t the NCAA tournament, but still this is a step forward for the team and the league. Next year the NCAA tournament for sure.

WNIT has 32 autobids--highest conference finisher that doesn't make the NCAAs. Pretty interesting.
JMU is in---bring them here. That would be a fun game. Old skool.

Apparently JMU was the second team in the First Four Out of the NCAAW. That has to hurt.

So the women beat them Friday, men on Saturday.
Nova was 18-12, RPI of 56. Doable.

Just our luck. Va Teach, JMU, and VCU all get home games and are in the same region.
I wish Villanova was coming here. I would love to watch a Harry Perretta coached team. This is his 41st year as head coach. He started when he was 22 back in 1978. At some point, you think he is going to retire. The guy is a legend in this game. But.....this game is going to be fun. They are a 3 point shooting team to the extreme. Literally over half of the team's shots are behind the arc and they are good on defense. This might be three ball fast and furious, which is always fun to watch.

Game apparently is at 7 pm in Philly. Has ODU, the athletic foundation, or someone else considered a bus trip, up and back, for the game. I’m in, if it can be arranged. Or if someone is driving up and has an extra seat in a van, i’d be happy to split expenses.
